Lt. Gov. Austin Davis will join local leaders and small-business owners to highlight historic investments in northeastern Pennsylvania communities Wednesday, April 30, in Berwick and Lewisburg.Gov. Josh Shapiro recently announced that the Shapiro-Davis Administration is investing in 81 community projects - including two in Union County and three in Columbia County - through the Main Street Matters program, fulfilling a key promise to help revitalize downtowns, support small businesses and strengthen local economies.Main Street Matters, administered by the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED), received more than 200 applications requesting more than $43 million in funding - underscoring the demand for strategic investments in Main Streets across Pennsylvania.WHO:Lt.
